Say hello to your next President. It has been widely speculated that Sleepy Joe would not last long as President. So he has been in office a little over a month. His memory lapses seem to be getting more frequent. A couple of days ago he could not remember his Sec. Of Defenses name. Last week he was giving an address online, he offered to take questions, his staff took him off the air.

Vice President Kamala Harris had another call with a foreign leader Tuesday, independent of President Biden.

Harris spoke with the prime minister of Norway, Erna Solberg, where Harris “affirmed her commitment to deepening the strong alliance between Norway and the United States.”

” The Vice President thanked the Prime Minister for Norway’s close security partnership with the United States and generous contributions to development and health security efforts around the world,” .

Harris previously took calls alone with French President Emanuel Macron and Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau as well as Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, shortly after the president put in a call to the French and Canadian leaders himself.

“She will be seen by everyone as a potential president in waiting,” one European ambassador told Politico in February. “Much more than in previous presidencies.”

Joe’s border policy has him in turbulent waters, and it will get worse, some tough times ahead. How will Joe stand up, or more accurately how will he be propped up?

It has been clear to a number of people including me that Obama is the man behind the curtain. The actions behind the democrat party seem eerily familiar. Look at the bills Nancy and Chucky have been pushing through Congress, they tell the story. The community organizer is still in business. Obama was leading a shadow government for the last four years. Who had Kerry in Iran, playing games behind the Trump administration?

It is said that Obama convinced Joe to pick Kamala as his VP.

So as Joe declines and the media begin to pick up on it and start to pound the drums, guess who is next in line, Why it’s Kamala, or is it?

Uncle Joe has done it again. Another executive order, this time to further muddle elections.

In a push to get HR 1 passed in the Senate, Biden signed this executive order. Biden called it “urgently needed” to protect the right to vote and to “strengthen” democracy, and vowed to work with Congress to “refine and advance” the legislation. Here again, like a good liberal, he says one thing the does exactly the opposite. Election governance belongs to each States legislative assembly, not the federal government. Article 1 Section 4 of the Constitution States: The Times, Places and Manner of holding Elections for Senators and Representatives, shall be prescribed in each State by the Legislature thereof.

Here we have more evidence that Joe, Nancy, and Chucky could care less about the United States Constitution, for them it is all about corrupting elections to insure that clear auditable elections are impossible. That way votes can be manipulated with no transparency, insuring meaningless elections.

Joe’s order orders a the office of general Services to “to improve and modernize the federal voter registration website Vote.gov.” Un-auditable, un-testable, non-transparent software has no place within ten miles of any election activity. Activities, and manipulation can go on under the covers that no one knows about but the person who coded them into the fabric of the software being used.

Biden also honored civil rights icons C.T. Vivian, Joseph Lowery and Lewis, all of whom died last year.

“Architects of the ‘Beloved Community,’ they built not only with words but with action. And reminders that in our lifetime, for Black Americans, the fundamental right to vote has been denied by white supremacy hiding both behind white hoods and in plain sight in statehouses and courtrooms,” the president said. So Woke!

Biden’s executive order would also:

• Direct federal agencies to assist states with voter registration efforts under the National Voter Registration Act of 1993.

• Order the General Services Administration to improve and modernize the federal voter registration website Vote.gov.

• Order recommendations on leave for federal employees allowing them to vote or volunteer as nonpartisan poll workers

• Direct the National Institute of Standards and Technology to evaluate and publish recommendations on steps needed to ensure the online federal voter registration form is accessible to people with disabilities.

• Direct Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin to establish procedures to annually offer each member of the armed forces the opportunity to register to vote in federal elections, update voter registration or request an absentee ballot.

• Direct the attorney general to establish procedures to provide educational materials on voter registration and voting for all eligible individuals in federal prisons or on probation by federal court.

• Establish a Native American voting rights steering group that will work with tribal organizations to identify best practices to protect voting rights of Native Americans

HR 1 is an attempt to take control of elections away from each state and place control at the federal level.

Article 1 Section 4 of the Constitution States: The Times, Places and Manner of holding Elections for Senators and Representatives, shall be prescribed in each State by the Legislature thereof

If you will take a minute and read Federalist No. 59,( https://press-pubs.uchicago.edu/founders/documents/a1_4_1s13.html ) you will see the rational for why this clause is written this way. Basically it was to move the decisions for how Elections were run closest to the people of each state, and not have it controlled by on person or by the Federal Government.

HR1 passed the House on 3/4/21 and is headed to the Senate.

HR 1 if passed would:

• Seize the authority of states to regulate voter registration and the voting process by forcing states to implement early voting, automatic voter registration, same-day registration, online voter registration, and no-fault absentee balloting.
• Make it easier to commit fraud and promotes chaos at the polls through same-day registration, as election officials have no time to verify the accuracy of voter registration information and cannot anticipate the number of voters, ballots, and precinct workers that will be needed.
• Hurt voter turnout through early voting by diffusing the intensity of get-out-the-vote efforts; it raises the cost of campaigns. Voters who vote early don’t have the same information as those who vote on Election Day, missing late-breaking developments that could affect their choices.
• Degrade the accuracy of registration lists by automatically registering individuals from state databases, such as DMV and welfare offices, by registering large numbers of ineligible voters, including aliens as well as multiple or duplicate registrations of the same individuals.
• Constitute a recipe for massive voter registration fraud by hackers and cyber criminals through online voter registration not tied to an existing state record, such as a driver’s license.
• Require states to count ballots cast by voters outside of their assigned precinct, overriding the precinct system used by almost all states that allows election officials to monitor votes, staff polling places, provide enough ballots, and prevent election fraud. Mandates no-fault absentee ballots, which are the tool of choice for vote thieves.
• Prevent election officials from checking the eligibility and qualifications of voters and remove ineligible voters. This includes restrictions on using the U.S. Postal Service’s national change-of-address system to verify the address of registered voters; participating in state programs that compare voter registration lists to detect individuals registered in multiple states; or ever removing registrants due to a failure to vote no matter how much time has gone by.
• Cripple the effectiveness of state voter ID laws by allowing individuals to vote without an ID and merely signing a statement in which they claim they are who they say they are.
• Violate the First Amendment and could cover a vast range of legal activity. Voter intimidation or coercion that prevents someone from registering or voting is already a federal crime under the Voting Rights Act and the National Voter Registration Act. But H.R. 1 adds an additional provision to prevent interference with registering or voting that is so vague that it could easily interfere with free speech and other lawful activity.
• Expand regulation and government censorship of campaigns and political activity and speech, including online and policy-related speech. H.R. 1 imposes onerous legal and administrative compliance burdens and costs on candidates, citizens, civic groups, unions, corporations, and nonprofit organizations. Many of these provisions violate the First Amendment, protect incumbents, and reduce the accountability of politicians to the public.
• Reduce the number of Federal Election Commission members from six to five, allowing the political party with three commission seats to control the commission and engage in partisan enforcement activities.
• Prohibit state election officials from participating in federal elections and impose numerous other “ethics” rules that are unconstitutional or unfairly restrict political activity.
• Require states to restore the ability of felons to vote the moment they are out of prison. Section 2 of the 14th Amendment gives states the constitutional authority to decide when felons who committed crimes against their fellow citizens may vote again. Congress cannot override a constitutional amendment with a statute.
• Transfer the right to draw congressional districts from state legislatures to “independent” commissions whose members are unaccountable to voters. H.R. 1 makes it a violation of federal law to engage in “partisan” redistricting and mandates inclusion of alien population, both legal and illegal, in all redistricting. This is an anti-democratic, unconstitutional measure that takes away the ability of the citizens of a state to make their own decision about redistricting.
• Violate separation of powers and directly interfere with the President’s constitutional duties. H.R. 1 bans his political appointees, such as the Attorney General, from participating in, directing the defense of, or assisting in any matter (including lawsuits against a President’s policies, programs, executive orders, or his enforcement of the law) in which the President is named as a party.

The senior Navy Task Force is proposing an oath to be taken by every member of the Navy:

“I pledge to advocate for and acknowledge all lived experiences and intersectional identities of every sailor in the Navy. I pledge to engage in ongoing self-reflection, education and knowledge sharing to better myself and my communities. I pledge to be an example in establishing healthy, inclusive and team-oriented environments. I pledge to constructively share all experiences and information gained from activities above to inform the development of Navy-wide reforms.” 

This is how far Woke think has gotten itself burrowed into the our institutions. I am sure soon other branches of the military will follow. So our universities, our colleges, our high schools, our grimmer schools.

Intersectionality as a concept can be extended and applied to all intersecting identities and experiences of discrimination and oppression, making it a crucial theory of inclusive social justice. Every person has intersecting social identities that place them in a unique position in society depending on the social structures of power. Intersectionality in practice is about seeing students as complex human individuals living within a society of intersecting structures of oppression.”

How many people taking that oath, do you think fully understand what they are committing to. I would think most won’t.

Secondly the military is the last place you want this kind of disruptive activity going on. Oh you say, they will bring in contractors to teach what the oath means. Oh OK

I have up loaded a few pages from a book “The palgrave international handbook of gender and the military. Written by Orna Sasson-Levy of Bar llan University. Read page 126, if your military or former military, get a bucket beside you before you start.

Bad enough that our educational system has sucked this stuff up. Now our government has bought in. Even the pentagon.

Our military should be dedicated and trained to go into battle to defend our countries security. It should train in warfare, tactics, military history. It has by its very nature a very strict chain of command, reacts to orders and takes action based on training. Our military has to be strong, and act many times without question.

This woke is a distraction, and has no place in the military. Especially if you understand that our military is all volunteer, if you think it needs woke don’t join.

Illinois state board of education put forward a modification to its teacher licensing standard. Part 24 of which is titled “culturally responsive teaching and leading standards for all Illinois educators” Which appears to be the injection of progressive liberal politics into the class room.

Below are a few excerpts from the new standards.

• Self-Awareness and Relationships to Others – Culturally Responsive Teachers and Leaders are reflective and gain a deeper understanding of themselves and how they impact others, leading to more cohesive and productive student development as it relates to academic and social-emotional development for all students. The culturally responsive teacher and leader will:
  • Understand and value the notion that multiple lived experiences exist, that there is often not one “correct” way of doing or understanding something, and that what is seen as “correct” is most often based on our lived experiences.
• Systems of Oppression – Culturally responsive teachers and leaders understand that there are systems in our society, especially, but not limited to, our school system that create and reinforce inequities, thereby creating oppressive conditions. Educators work actively against these systems in their everyday roles in educational institutions. The culturally responsive teacher and leader will
  • Understand how a system of inequity creates rules regarding student punishment that negatively impact students of color.

So here again we have a woke group pushing white supremacy sensitivity.

This is the same education system that is refusing to open schools and go back to teaching students.

The state of Illinois administers standardized tests each year, according to scores from the 2019 tests:

In math, only 32 percent of all students met or exceeded the state’s standards.

In English language arts 37.4 percent of all students met or exceeded the state’s standards.

So instead of focusing on the real problem, it is easier to put the blame on an imagined someplace else then focus on the imaginary problem. In doing so they will not get kids reading better, increase their math skills, or make it any easier for them to survive in an adult world.

I often wonder. In 1600s the Irish migrated to America, not long after the Italians. They suffered from the same discrimination as the Blacks and the Hispanics describe today. Perhaps the discrimination then was harsher and more pointed. Three generations later, discrimination against the Irish and Italians was mostly gone. These people sent their kids to school, took what ever jobs they could find, worked hard. They moved out of the cities and into regular neighborhoods. They had adapted and assimilated.

Did we change the way we educated children back then. Did we give special provisions for employment, no. We didn’t even have a minimum wage then.

The Irish and Italian people accomplish assimilation by sheer will, they wanted to become American. They came to this country because they wanted the freedom and opportunity that they saw in America. They knew from the get go they need to assimilate.

I said this a few day ago Ill say it again:

If I had kids in a public school regardless of my race or skin color I would immediately be looking for a private school or seriously consider home school. I know, I know not every one can afford private schools or because of the need to work has the time to home school. But everyone has the time to push for state law that allow freedom of choice, with the state transferring funds that allows for school choice.

Teacher’s unions are clearly showing us what there values are, look at Chicago or New York, were they are using the pandemic for nefarious reasons, their not interested in true education, only exploitation. More money to redirect.

The sad thing is there are some really great teachers out there, However, to keep their job, they must conform. The unions have put them in shackles.

Maybe it is time to contemplate doing away with the public education system control from Washington.

John Kerry, (Lurch) the White House’s special envoy on climate, told us on Friday, that we only had less than a decade left to avoid the worst climate Catastrophe. “There is no room for B.S. anymore. There’s no faking it on this one,”

“Even if we did everything that we said we were going to do when we signed up in Paris, we would see a rise in the Earth’s temperature to somewhere around 3.7 degrees or more, which is catastrophic,” Kerry said.

According to Dr. Bjorn Lomborg of the Paris Accords:”Paris climate promises will reduce temperatures by just 0.05°C by 2100”

On December 9, 2020 The United Nations released its Emissions Gap Report 2020. Which said “despite a brief dip in carbon dioxide emissions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, the world is still heading for a temperature rise.” “But for the United States, the real value in this report is as an advisory that it need not join the Paris Climate Accord. This report is evidence that, instead, the U.S. should just keep doing what it is doing to cut its own emissions. The U.S. is the most successful major country at mitigating its own pollution, and the U.N. shows this.’

According to a Study released in March 2017, a study produced by NERA Economic Consulting for the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Concluded that The cost of the Paris Climate Accord to the American economy is steep. The agreement will cost American workers 6.5 million jobs and $3 trillion in economic growth by 2040,

According to a Heritage study released November 5. 2019, by 2035 A average total income loss of more than $20,000 for a family of four.

So Lurch, why are you pushing the hell out of rejoining the Paris accords, and all your climate change rhetoric. Is it because you see all that money rolling into your bank account as you ride around in your fuel gusseling private jet? You do remember that Lurch is a partner in an investment firm that invests in green energy companies, don’t you?

If we want to get serious about replacing fossil fuels. Lets think out of the box a bit.

We went to the moon in a very short time span when we created NASA and gave them one very focused goal.

We know now that the American people can lean and understand complicated situations, look what the average citizen knows about the covid pandemic.

Create a new branch of government call it the “ Strategic Power Branch”, make them accountable to the voter, with an annual vote of success or failure. Annually present a budget to the American people if the branch gets a successful vote, their budget is funded by congress, congress gets no vote. Cap any private company dealing with this branch at ten percent profit margin for any work or goods they profide.

The vote system must be based on the electoral college as defined in the Constitution. If a voter, votes Failure, then they must vote for a replacement in leadership. If a person is running to replace the current leadership, there campaign funding is capped at $250,000 and must come directly from individual contributors. No packs, or bundlers.

Both the Congress and the Executive branch must be mute on all matters delegated to the Strategic Power Branch.

If the Strategic Power Branch must take over private power producers to accomplish its objectives, it must relinquish that control once a defined set of objective are reached. The private power producers must be left whole.

Give this branch oversight on the United States Power grid and charge them with:

• Ending our nations dependence on fossil fuel. Mandate a time frame.
• Rebuilding the national power grid. And providing for the security of that grid.
• Researching and building electric power generating technology and attaching it to the grid.
• Mandate that this entity spend 10 percent of it budget on public education.

On his first day in office Joe killed the Keystone Pipeline. Then on January 27, 2021 he put a moratorium to kill new oil and gas leases on federal lands and waters.

I am sure that Joe’s administration would tell you no problem, because renewable energy will pick up the slack in less oil to run the country on. Less oil drilling and production will kill our oil independence , an independence we have just started to enjoy after decades of being dependent on OPEC.

We know that current technology is not the answer. Look at Texas and Germany, Frozen wind turbines, solar panels covered with snow, producing zero energy, while people freeze. So it might be awhile to find the affordable answer to find a workable renewable energy source.

In the mean time Joe has just “Recalibrated” our relationship with Saudi Arabia. They did this by making the 85 year old king the prime US contact in Saudi Arabia. This is a snub to Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman (MBS), who is widely considered to be the kingdom’s defacto ruler and next in line to the throne. MBS and has been the prime US contact for Saudi’s for years. MBS has been a leader in the region, helping to resolve the rift between Qatar and other gulf nations. He also was the first to sign the agreement recognizing Israel, and bring other nations to the table to do the same.

However Joe is concerned that a Crown Prince is not his equal, and therefor will not deal with him. Saudi royals have not taken snubs lightly in the past. So when we turn to start buying OPEC oil again, with Saudi Arabia being the biggest producer, it might get interesting.

Does anyone remember the last time OPEC flexed it mussel? In the 70s OPEC manufactured a shortage of oil. The price of oil went way up, but it was not being produced in enough quantity to satisfy the demand. So in America there was a gas shortage. Months of gas rationing. Based on you license plated number, you could get gas on certain days of the week, the lines were blocks long.

Joe’s energy strategy could make it difficult where energy availability is concerned.

But hey, Joe has not been on the right side of any foreign policy decision in 47 years, why would we expect him to start now?

Today we learned that Joe is trying to open negotiations with Iran and of course Iran will not talk until we lift all sanctions that are in place. It will be interesting to see what Joe will do. I wonder how many pallets of cash will be dumped on an Iranian airfield this time. Knowing Joe he will probably provide the technology for ICBMs

If you remember back in February-March 2020 Gov. Andrew Cuomo was crying about not enough hospital beds, not enough ventilators not enough of anything.

So the Federal Government put the army to work and built out a 2500 bed facility in the Javits Center. Then the USNS Comfort was sent to New York, that is another 1000 beds.

Ventilators were sent to New York.

The Javits Center only served 1000 patients during its entire time. The Comfort only served 80 patients. No one who needed a ventilator went without.

Cuomo continued to cry through June. Then he began to sing his own praises. How great a job he was doing with the pandemic. How he had conquered it. Wrote a book about how great he was.

On March 25 Cuomo issued a directive barring nursing homes from refusing people just because they had Covid. So 9,056 recovering patients were sent to hundreds of nursing homes. Transferred from hospitals to nursing homes. Then the reported number of nursing home deaths was reported to be 8,500, until February 11, 2021, when the number of 15,000 was released. It was covered up. An aid said they where afraid to release the real number, afraid it would look bad.

Cuomo said he was just following CDC guidelines, ok lets see the guidelines, OOPs

Does any one with a brain, need any guidelines to know that sending recovering covid patients into a nursing home with the most vulnerable people in this country is a disaster? Some conqueror. The man should be charged with manslaughter. Darn I forgot he is a left wing Democrat,

Those transfers could have been sent to the Comfort, or the Javits Center, and received excellent care. Posing no danger to anyone.

This morning it was reported that Nancy Pelosi and Cuomo had a little dust up.

Nancy this week sent a letter to New York’s congressional Democrats, touting the federal proposal’s $50 billion in state and local funding for New York as well as $20 billion to “support families’ health, financial security and well-being.”

The proposed amount exceeds the $15 billion that Cuomo has repeatedly said the state needs to close New York’s budget gap. According to the Times Union of Albany, N.Y., which covers the state’s capital region. The newspaper said it obtained a copy of Pelosi’s letter.

“We sadly observe over 1.5 million coronavirus cases, nearly 45,000 deaths, and hundreds of thousands of job losses in New York,” Pelosi writes. “Please know that your concerns are being addressed in ways that you have advanced and with the enthusiastic advocacy of Leader Chuck Schumer and Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand.”

In other words, Nancy went to State Democrat’s rather than address Cuomo.

Think about it. For a State that has failed in it’s fiscal responsibility the Federal Government is going to redistribute U.S. tax payers dollars to ball out the State of New York.

So in this $1.9 trillion of covid relief bill that the Senate will take up next week is $70 billion to bail out the State of New York when they asked for $15 billion. Frankly they should not get one dollar.

However, in the world of Joe, and the far left this is the way it works.
