According to Dr. Bjorn Lomborg of the Paris Accords:”Paris climate promises will reduce temperatures by just 0.05°C by 2100”
On December 9, 2020 The United Nations released its Emissions Gap Report 2020. Which said “despite a brief dip in carbon dioxide emissions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, the world is still heading for a temperature rise.” “But for the United States, the real value in this report is as an advisory that it need not join the Paris Climate Accord. This report is evidence that, instead, the U.S. should just keep doing what it is doing to cut its own emissions. The U.S. is the most successful major country at mitigating its own pollution, and the U.N. shows this.’
According to a Study released in March 2017, a study produced by NERA Economic Consulting for the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Concluded that The cost of the Paris Climate Accord to the American economy is steep. The agreement will cost American workers 6.5 million jobs and $3 trillion in economic growth by 2040,
According to a Heritage study released November 5. 2019, by 2035 A average total income loss of more than $20,000 for a family of four.
So Lurch, why are you pushing the hell out of rejoining the Paris accords, and all your climate change rhetoric. Is it because you see all that money rolling into your bank account as you ride around in your fuel gusseling private jet? You do remember that Lurch is a partner in an investment firm that invests in green energy companies, don’t you?
If we want to get serious about replacing fossil fuels. Lets think out of the box a bit.
We went to the moon in a very short time span when we created NASA and gave them one very focused goal.
We know now that the American people can lean and understand complicated situations, look what the average citizen knows about the covid pandemic.
Create a new branch of government call it the “ Strategic Power Branch”, make them accountable to the voter, with an annual vote of success or failure. Annually present a budget to the American people if the branch gets a successful vote, their budget is funded by congress, congress gets no vote. Cap any private company dealing with this branch at ten percent profit margin for any work or goods they profide.
The vote system must be based on the electoral college as defined in the Constitution. If a voter, votes Failure, then they must vote for a replacement in leadership. If a person is running to replace the current leadership, there campaign funding is capped at $250,000 and must come directly from individual contributors. No packs, or bundlers.
Both the Congress and the Executive branch must be mute on all matters delegated to the Strategic Power Branch.
If the Strategic Power Branch must take over private power producers to accomplish its objectives, it must relinquish that control once a defined set of objective are reached. The private power producers must be left whole.
Give this branch oversight on the United States Power grid and charge them with:
Ending our nations dependence on fossil fuel. Mandate a time frame.
Rebuilding the national power grid. And providing for the security of that grid.
Researching and building electric power generating technology and attaching it to the grid.
Mandate that this entity spend 10 percent of it budget on public education.
On his first day in office Joe killed the Keystone Pipeline. Then on January 27, 2021 he put a moratorium to kill new oil and gas leases on federal lands and waters.
I am sure that Joe’s administration would tell you no problem, because renewable energy will pick up the slack in less oil to run the country on. Less oil drilling and production will kill our oil independence , an independence we have just started to enjoy after decades of being dependent on OPEC.
We know that current technology is not the answer. Look at Texas and Germany, Frozen wind turbines, solar panels covered with snow, producing zero energy, while people freeze. So it might be awhile to find the affordable answer to find a workable renewable energy source.
In the mean time Joe has just “Recalibrated” our relationship with Saudi Arabia. They did this by making the 85 year old king the prime US contact in Saudi Arabia. This is a snub to Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman (MBS), who is widely considered to be the kingdom’s defacto ruler and next in line to the throne. MBS and has been the prime US contact for Saudi’s for years. MBS has been a leader in the region, helping to resolve the rift between Qatar and other gulf nations. He also was the first to sign the agreement recognizing Israel, and bring other nations to the table to do the same.
However Joe is concerned that a Crown Prince is not his equal, and therefor will not deal with him. Saudi royals have not taken snubs lightly in the past. So when we turn to start buying OPEC oil again, with Saudi Arabia being the biggest producer, it might get interesting.
Does anyone remember the last time OPEC flexed it mussel? In the 70s OPEC manufactured a shortage of oil. The price of oil went way up, but it was not being produced in enough quantity to satisfy the demand. So in America there was a gas shortage. Months of gas rationing. Based on you license plated number, you could get gas on certain days of the week, the lines were blocks long.
Joe’s energy strategy could make it difficult where energy availability is concerned.
But hey, Joe has not been on the right side of any foreign policy decision in 47 years, why would we expect him to start now?

Today we learned that Joe is trying to open negotiations with Iran and of course Iran will not talk until we lift all sanctions that are in place. It will be interesting to see what Joe will do. I wonder how many pallets of cash will be dumped on an Iranian airfield this time. Knowing Joe he will probably provide the technology for ICBMs
It is a sad day, this morning Rush Limbaugh passed. In 1988 he started a radio program on heard on 56 stations. Today his 3 hour show is carried by more than 600 stations with a listening audience of up to 27 million people a week. He became the voice of conservatives across America. He was a true patriot, who loved America Deeply. Rush was well known as one of the most influential conservative voices in America.
I listened to him for most of 30 years. To me he was more than just a talk show host. He had a way of being very uplifting. At times when I was down, he had a way to make things look better. When politics were fuzzy he could clarify. He became one of those people who, even though I didn’t know him personally, I called friend. I am saddened.

Today as I have read several articles about Rush, on those that allowed comments, I read the most vile comments calling him every name in the book. Twitter was awash with trash. Written by liberals. Perhaps I should have expected that, after all while he was alive they did the same thing.
Somehow when a person passes you expect people to say something good or not say anything at all, at least that has always been my rule.
So I guess I’ll just agree with Rush, liberalism is a mental illness, I should have expected them to act like that.
They want unity, well take your unity, which is code for conforming to their world view, and stick it.
In an email sent out by the Oregon Department of Education, teachers were encouraged to enroll in a course called “A Pathway to Equitable Math Instruction.” The course came with an 82-page instructional guide that lists the ways in which white supremacy is perpetuated in math class.
From the instructional guide “White supremacy culture infiltrates math classrooms in everyday teacher actions,” “Coupled with the beliefs that underlie these actions, they perpetuate educational harm on Black, Latinx, and multilingual students, denying them full access to the world of mathematics.”

Focusing on helping students to get the right answer

grading any form of behavior
use Ankara fabric to teach mathematical concepts as apposed to using wood or an object that does not have cultural relevance

suggests teachers expose students to examples of people who have used math as a form of “resistance”
The concept of mathematics being purely objective is unequivocally false, and teaching it is even much less so,” the guide reads. “Upholding the idea that there are always right and wrong answers perpetuate objectivity.
The last one is my favorite math is perhaps of all subjects taught it is purely objective.

Is this what our education system has become? Does this prepare students to move into the adult world and be successful. From my perspective it sets students up for a massive culture shock. No wonder we have kids who can’t function in the American culture. No wonder we have frustrated young adults. It is easy to see why young adults act out believing that the world is being unfair with them. Our education system does not teach them real world values and concepts.

If any one who reads this regardless of race or skin color does not get a shock I would be amazed. Instead of teaching to strengthen self reliance, self responsibility, and strength they are doing the opposite. Kids need to lean that life is matriculation system you start and work your way up to what ever your potential and desires are.
If I had kids in a public school regardless of my race or skin color I would immediately be looking for a private school or seriously consider home school.
Teacher’s unions are clearly showing us what there values are, look at Chicago or New York, were they are using the pandemic for nefarious reasons, their not interested in true education, only exploitation.
The sad thing is there are some really great teachers out there, However, to keep their job, they must conform.
Maybe it is time to contemplate doing away with the public education system control from Washington.
According to the Weather Channel, 3.5 million homes and businesses were with out power at around 7PM in Texas. Water supplies compromised, but a large number of homes cannot boil because of no electricity.
All most all of Texas is on a single power grid that lacks integration with surrounding states. The grid is run by Electric Reliability Council of Texas (ERCOT) a nonprofit controlled by the state legislature. About 20 % of the power on the grid is produced by green production, Wind Turbines.
Because of a massive winter storm with record breaking cold dropping temperatures into the single digits. Well all those Wind Turbines froze up, Who knew. So 20% of the power on the grid, was gone. It is said it will take weeks to get things/…AQ working again, once the temperatures raise.
Texas is one of the largest produces of natural gas, however that is not green, and ERCOT is all about Green.
In Germany 41.1% of its electricity comes form Solar and Wind. For many years, Germany has been held up as the worlds wind and solar capital.
This year German’s have learned that solar panels don’t work when covered with snow. 30,000 wind turbines do not turn because of freezing temperatures.
Germany has turned to coal for heat.
Two Government entities put there people at risk for the sake of Green. Well done. All that science, with all that thought. Professionals assuring everyone that had it all thought thru, had all the answers.
I hear Joe and AOC preach Green, they have a plan. I have not seen any detail to the “Plan”. Bet there is none. Just hell bent to go with the Green New Deal. Think they care about those folks in Texas freezing the butts off?

THERE IS NO COMMON SENSE IN GOVERNMENT

If you remember back in February-March 2020 Gov. Andrew Cuomo was crying about not enough hospital beds, not enough ventilators not enough of anything.
So the Federal Government put the army to work and built out a 2500 bed facility in the Javits Center. Then the USNS Comfort was sent to New York, that is another 1000 beds.
Ventilators were sent to New York.
The Javits Center only served 1000 patients during its entire time. The Comfort only served 80 patients. No one who needed a ventilator went without.
Cuomo continued to cry through June. Then he began to sing his own praises. How great a job he was doing with the pandemic. How he had conquered it. Wrote a book about how great he was.
On March 25 Cuomo issued a directive barring nursing homes from refusing people just because they had Covid. So 9,056 recovering patients were sent to hundreds of nursing homes. Transferred from hospitals to nursing homes. Then the reported number of nursing home deaths was reported to be 8,500, until February 11, 2021, when the number of 15,000 was released. It was covered up. An aid said they where afraid to release the real number, afraid it would look bad.
Cuomo said he was just following CDC guidelines, ok lets see the guidelines, OOPs
Does any one with a brain, need any guidelines to know that sending recovering covid patients into a nursing home with the most vulnerable people in this country is a disaster? Some conqueror. The man should be charged with manslaughter. Darn I forgot he is a left wing Democrat,
Those transfers could have been sent to the Comfort, or the Javits Center, and received excellent care. Posing no danger to anyone.
This morning it was reported that Nancy Pelosi and Cuomo had a little dust up.
Nancy this week sent a letter to New York’s congressional Democrats, touting the federal proposal’s $50 billion in state and local funding for New York as well as $20 billion to “support families’ health, financial security and well-being.”
The proposed amount exceeds the $15 billion that Cuomo has repeatedly said the state needs to close New York’s budget gap. According to the Times Union of Albany, N.Y., which covers the state’s capital region. The newspaper said it obtained a copy of Pelosi’s letter.
“We sadly observe over 1.5 million coronavirus cases, nearly 45,000 deaths, and hundreds of thousands of job losses in New York,” Pelosi writes. “Please know that your concerns are being addressed in ways that you have advanced and with the enthusiastic advocacy of Leader Chuck Schumer and Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand.”
In other words, Nancy went to State Democrat’s rather than address Cuomo.
Think about it. For a State that has failed in it’s fiscal responsibility the Federal Government is going to redistribute U.S. tax payers dollars to ball out the State of New York.
So in this $1.9 trillion of covid relief bill that the Senate will take up next week is $70 billion to bail out the State of New York when they asked for $15 billion. Frankly they should not get one dollar.
However, in the world of Joe, and the far left this is the way it works.
There are three levels of rights in this country they are derived From our U.S. Constitution, and Declaration of Independence.
The Three levels are Individual, States Rights, and Federal Government Rights.
Lately I find that a number of people have either forgotten what those rights are or are unaware when a right is being circumvented. In this time of a pandemic, there is an expectation that the Federal Government should be telling the states what to do and how to do it. The Federal Government cannot go beyond those rights enumerated to it in the Constitution. If a Federal right is not granted to it, the Tenth Amendment, says any other function or right belongs to the States. That is, of course, with the exception of those rights that are individual rights laid out in the Bill of Rights.
It also seems that the Federal Government and other organizations are ignoring certain rights or are circumventing them. The political left, have long try to convince us that the Constitution is no longer valid, its old and stodgy, not European enough. Now it seems they just try to ignore it along with ignoring the law in situations were they think they benefit.
We are a Country of laws and rights. Without laws and rights we are no longer in a Democratic Union. We become a group of tribes each doing what they want without regard to the individual or nation.
Here are some examples of activities going on the seem to ignore the Constitution or skirt it.
Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee (d-Texas) introduced a bill on 1/04/2021 H.R 127 called the Sabika Sheikh Firearm Licensing and Registration Act.
This just another approach to skirt our Second Amendment rights. It calls for the creation of a national data base of all gun owners, physiological examinations, and an annual $800 fee. The next thing we will see is an attack on the ammunition manufactures. Joe has already talked about an outlandish tax on ammunition, which again is a Democrat way of skirting the Second Amendment.
Wednesday the Blue House (White House) reportedly was considering domestic travel restrictions including Florida. As reported by the Miami Herald on Wednesday Officials with Joe’s administration said they are having conversations about anything that could help mitigate spread, including Florida travel restrictions.
On February 11, 2021:
Florida had 1.81M Covid Cases and 28,381 Deaths
California had 3.46M Covid Cases and 45,976 Deaths
California is a lock down Democrat state with almost twice as many cases and 62% more deaths. Yet we didn’t hear anything about a travel restrictions to California.
Joe has opened our southern border, yet we have not heard anything about closing that back down.
So what is going on, first it is unconstitutional for the federal government to restrict travel within the United States. Could this be another statement of Democrat retribution? Florida is a Republican state with a Republican Governor.
All summer and still today we have seen riots and destruction across this nation. On January 6th we saw an incursion on Congress. It has been reported the 5 people died in the riot. Congress has been slippery with a number of aspects of what happened and how it happened.
I have said it before, I’ll say it again what, the people did on the 6th was wrong, and they all, Left and Right need to be punished severely for there actions.
Officer Brian Sicknick died on the 6th and members of congress have said he died because he was hit in the head by a fire extinguisher. It is now being reported by his family and by Lawofficer.com that he had not sustained blunt force trauma. He reportedly died from a medical condition. Making matters more political, federal investigators announced that they are “struggling” to build a murder case against anyone in his death. Further muddying the waters no autopsy results have been released.

Yet all you hear and read is five people died on the 6th and that Trump has blood on his hands. We have 7000 military inside a concertina wire cage surrounding the capital building and a select set of congress wetting their pants. The Capital Complex is the peoples Complex, it does not belong to Congress, Representatives work for the people not for some political agenda. It is pure political show.
Yet at least 25 people were killed during “protests” this summer across this country in 2020 and no one is reporting that. Pictures of a “mostly peaceful protest” have been taken with a city ablaze behind the reporter. Looting, businesses vandalized, Federal buildings vandalized, arson, muggings, areas of cities walled off and police are not allow inside. No response, just applause from the left.
Democrat lawmakers both state and federal do nothing about the 2020 riots. Saying those people have the right to free speech and the right to protest.
Neither the 6th or the riots of the summer are covered by a Constitutional right, the right given in the Constitution is to be able to “peacefully protest”. But what a different reaction to the two situations! In the riots across the country, police have been told to stand down, prosecutors have refused to prosecute, no arrests, or if an arrest is made it is followed by immediate release.
Big Tech, colleges, university and other groups have developed the cancel culture. If they don’t like what your beliefs are or what you are saying they bar you form saying anything. They bar your accounts, cancel your engagements, or shout you down.
Free Speech is a Constitutional Right, no matter your point of view or your beliefs. Here again the left refuses to recognize the Constitution.
None of this is OK, Time to push back, peacefully, write, phone, email your congress person.

Joe called for unity on the day he became, well you know.
Since that day things have happened that make that call a hollow and a false call.
Day one he starts to destroy the last four years of America First. America First being something that 75 million Americans believe strongly in.
Today, a guy who has been on the wrong side of every major foreign policy decision for 47 years, calls China. Joe started to play kissy face with Xi Jinping, our major enemy. If that does not scare the hell out of you, your numb. Remember that Joe and Hunter have a vested interest in keeping their $ interest in China safe. Gotta keep the crime family bank account growing.
Then we find out through a Time’s story that there was a shadow campaign in play for the entire presidential campaign. Joe sat in his basement and did virtually nothing, he did not need to. There was an army of staff influencing the campaign, hidden away from the American people. The media was in play publishing propaganda. Influencers involved pushing Governors, States Attorneys, and election officials to bend the election rules. They used the Pandemic to get states to use unsolicited mail in ballots by the millions. They even had the balls to tell us how it would go. Trump wins by a landslide, on election night, then days later by counting mail in ballots he is defeated.
So shadow campaign good, Russia Bad?
This after the democrat’s bitterly beat the Trump Presidency for four straight years. First with a phony Clinton paid for Russian Conspiracy. Then a false Ukraine quid pro quo investigation, which was false and went no where. Then an impeachment, which did not go anywhere.
Now another impeachment, with a President who is not in office.
Add to all of this the cancel culture still alive and well. Social media blocking conservative voices. News media that is selectively reporting the talking points, spreading propaganda.
Then there is January 6th which is now being reported by the FBI as a planned event, planed weeks before the 6th. Someplace in the mix of murky details are names like BLM, and Antifa. But the left keeps hammering on the Presidents speech of Jan 6th as the inspiration for the incursion.
The game is not being played only by the Democrat’s, the left, but also by the establishment Republicans, so called conservatives.
That entity we called the Swamp for the last four years, it still exists, and is now back in power, and they are out to crush anyone who does not bow to them. That is not unity.
If your one of the 75 million who believe in America First, it is time to face the other half and say F you. This is not the time to capitulate. It is time to focus on what we do in 2022 and 2024. Don’t give in to the temptation to be radical or unlawful. Find candidates who believe as we do, support them, donate to them, work in their campaigns at all levels of Government. Do what ever you can do to get like minded winners.
Also remember that as right leaning conservatives, we have a demarcation between us and radicals who do not belong to us. That being if you show any indication you are racist you don’t belong to us. If you are going to be unlawful you don’t belong to us. That is something the left can not claim, they have no lines of demarcation. The left knows no such lines, they will use any one, any tactic to win, with them it all about power.
Raising the Minimum Wage to $15 per hour will raise the pay of 17 million workers who would otherwise earn less than $15 per hour. However 1.3 million workers would become Jobless. There is a two thirds chance that employment could decrease by as many as 3.7 million jobs.
That is saying that for every 13 people getting a raise in pay one is going to loose their job.
It also says that there is a chance that there will be 3.7 million jobs available by 2025 for job seekers to find.
So here is your assignment for tomorrow. If you work with a group of people or know a group of people who earn less than $15 per hour, get 14 of them together, tell them what you just read. Then tell them that they can make it easy on the boss, and give a friend a head start. They should pick who should go, and give them a head start finding another job, if they do it today, then they will not have to hunt in a job market with fewer jobs available. Then because the remaining 13 are going to get a raise, give your buddy a going away party.
I did a little research today to validate some of my assumptions about the cost and benefit of a four year degree.
I selected a social science degree a four year degree major in Sociology. While I can’t say I have exact numbers, from several sources I came up with this.
Tuition at a private college runs at more than $38,000 per year according to U.S. news and world report.
A dorm room can run from $2000 to $5000 per semester I chose $3,500 and most colleges require a student to buy a meal plan which runs on average $2000 per semester. I am assuming 11 semesters to attain a four year degree.
Tuition would be $152,000
Room and food would be $60,500
The total cost of the degree would be $212,500
That borrowed at 1% interest over 20 years would make a payment of $977.28 per month.
The average starting salary for a sociology major is $36,500 as of 2018. The mid-career median(at ten years) salary is $58,200.
That would work out to a starting monthly income of $3,.041 before Taxes.
After paying the loan payment that does not leave much to live on, no argument there.
If someone choose to go down this path, then the education system failed them. First they where not taught to understand that if you borrow money you have to pay it back using the income you make. Second they were never taught to think through what they were committing themselves to and what the likely outcome would be. Third the system taught them that a four year degree was there ticket to a happy life of living the way Mom and Dad had provided for them.
And Fourth the person who was their guidance consular screwed up. Because as the last person in the chain of guidance, the consular failed to point out the reality of making the choices that the student was making.
Fifth and most egregiously the system does not teach people to take self responsibility for there actions and decision. ‘ pore babies need a gold star for breathing’. Hence, they become the oppressed.
So now the Federal government is going to take away that burden in part or in total. That the Federal Government is going to take tax dollars and give it away to someone who made at a minimum a very illogical set of choices. I could go on in for ever about a corrupt education system, but that is another topic all together.
OK so the government does this, is that fair to the family who worked and saved and put their kid through college, and paid for it?
If your going to do this, how about the family that is upside down in a car loan?
How about the family that is struggling to pay the mortgage?
This is not a good idea. It is not fair on many levels. It is a pure attempt to buy votes.
